We have used the open source .org platform for our blog at http://www.foundhealt.com/blog/
I would like to have a parallel page on wordpress.COM as well. I want the same content on each (with perhaps more visually interesting pieces on the .com site).
Is there a way for me to integrate the two?

No, not really, and wordpress.COM has asked that people not do that - have duplicate content here. In fact, it can get your site here suspended or deleted.
Duplicate content is always a really, really, really bad idea, even if the content is on your own sites. The reason is that then your sites compete with each other for placement of that content with the search engines, and effectively it will end up holding both sites back as far as search engine ranking goes.
