Translatin month's names

    Hi.
    I'm using wordpress and I'm working on a translation in sardo (the language of Sardinia).
    The sardinian language doesn't have a locale def on the system, so, also if I translate the "interface" of the theme I'm using, that support translation, month's name are displayed in english, cause wordress doesn't find the sardinian name.

    How can I resolved this problem?

    I'm using qtranslate to make this site multilanguage, but the translation of month's name isn't provided by plugins..
