Why is it so difficult to upload pictures now? I have to adjust the size everytime I upload a photo, unlike before. And how come the pictures don't come out in the draft? It makes it harder for me to put a text on the pictures because I don't know which one is which. What's happening?! I was perfectly happy with the system before. Instead of making it easier, it's now more difficult!

You ought to be able to upload files in two ways: by going to Media → Add New from your dashboard http://en.support.wordpress.com/media/media-add-new/ or by clicking the new Add Media button right above the editing area of a page or a post. http://en.support.wordpress.com/add-media/

I was perfectly happy with the system before. Instead of making it easier, it's now more difficult!
Here's a word to the wise. Know that WordPress.com is on continuous roll-out of new features and functions and changes to existing ones ones. Some days as many as 2 dozen code changes are made. It's important to let go of any notion of anything being frozen in time so you aren't disappointed if and when it changes.
