In the process of exporting my blog from Blogger (http://brodiesnotes.blogspot.com) to jobrodie.wordpress.com I seem to have activated some sort of 'thing' that has resulted in my blog being deactivated, according to the following unaffectionate message:
"This blog has been deactivated because we believe it does not comply with the WordPress.com Terms of Service or advertising policy.
If your blog is designed to promote affiliate links, get rich quick programs, banner ads, consists solely or mostly of duplicate or automatically generated material, or is part of a search engine marketing campaign, WordPress.com is not the place for you. Please use the Export feature to move your content to a more appropriate hosting service.
Occasionally we make mistakes. If you believe we have misclassified your blog, please click here to contact us as soon as possible so we can fix the problem."
The 'click here to contact us' link just takes me to a page where I can complain about a blog, not where I can remedy any problems with my own blog, I've tried using the form... to no avail.
I have previously (a year ago) mirrored my blog at WordPress but it was when I added the remaining posts that the problem began. My blog does mention affiliate marketing (I am critical of some of the health claims made by affiliate marketers selling diet pills) but does not itself involve any selling.
In a sense it doesn't matter as I have the XML file so the blog is backed up, but it's been convenient having a spare backup.
Any ideas? Thanks.
Jo "trying not to sound too whiny" Brodie :)
The blog I need help with is jobrodie.wordpress.com.
