Trying to get columnist theme to look like demo

    Hello all,

    I chose to use the columnist theme based on this example columnist

    I can't figure out how to get my page to flow like that.

    Specifically how on the front page, there are the categories (design, news,video) then one story available underneath the catagory, and a tab for view all.

    how would i setup mine to look like that?

    The theme has been adapted to run on our WordPress.com multiuser software so don't rely on what you see at the link you posted.     Custom Menu
    The Columnist provides a single navigation menu which displays at the top of your site. This menu will support any level of dropdowns and can be configured by visiting the Appearance → Menus admin screen. It’s important to note that this menu will only appear in templates that display multiple posts. This includes your homepage, search, and all archive views.
