tumbnail help PLEASE!!!

  1. I can't get a handle on this new format re: posting tumbnailed pictures at my site: http://indyandy.wordpress.com/.

If you look at the '08 Pics 3 Page (or any of the pages for that matter), that is the end result that I am seeking. What I am getting today is, at best, pics that are lined up one atop the next vertically - and, at worst, only one pic loading, with subsequent pics disapearing, save for the description, which gets folded into the description on the 1st pic.

I have even tried starting a new page just incase it was an issue with "mixing" formatting, but I still got the same results.

What am I doing wrong, & how do I get back to making the new entries resemble the prior ones?

  2. If you're getting thumbnails lined up the one under the other, my guess is you've set their alignment to Center: must be None.

  3. I just checked, & my picture alignment is set at None.

  4. Can't guess anything else unless you give us a link to the post.

  5. Here you go: http://indyandy.wordpress.com/08-pics-4/

At first it looked like it was going to give me two pics, stacked vertically. As you can see, however, it only gave me one - & put both pic descriptions togeather.

  6. I looked at the source code and I can't understand how you managed to get that! Anyway, I tried it in my test blog and it's just the captions that create the complication. I don't know if I'll find the solution - if not, you could resort to reuploading the pictures without captions and writing one line of text below them describing both.

  7. Got it: you can use the code for a table:
    <table><tr><td>DATA1</td><td>DATA2</td></tr></table>
where DATA1 and DATA2 are the complete codes for the two pictures, starting with
    [caption id="attachment_ .....
    and ending with
    ..... /caption]

  8. I'm heading off to work now - I'll take a look at it in the morning 7 let you know how it goes.

    Thanks!
