Turn off Categories/Tags?

1. I don't want to see other blogs when I click on a certain category or tag. Can this be turned off?

2. Not Sure what you are Saying? Could you explain a little more.

3. OK, when you look at one of your own blog posts and you click on the category or tag assigned to that post, you are directed to the same categories and tags to other people's blogs. Can I turn that feature off? I want to be able to click on my category or tag and only get MY posts in that category or tag. Does that make more sense?

4. I don't think so. Sorry.

5. You don't think it can be turned off? Is there someone here that knows for sure?

6. There are a few themes which don't show category links on posts, and some other themes where you can hide them with the custom CSS upgrade, but if the links are displayed, they will always lead to global tag pages (unless you are a VIP blog paying hundreds of dollars a year for hosting).

7. I have the custom CSS upgrade feature. Do you know how I could do that in there? I'm really new to this and it's all Greek to me but if you tell me exactly how it needs to appear, then I can do it.

8. What's your URL? I need to know what theme you're using.

9. This CSS code will work, but not necessarily for all web-browsers
div.postinfo + p {
visibility:hidden;
}

div.entry, div.postinfo {
visibility:show !important;
}
10. retrying:

div.postinfo + p {
visibility:hidden;
}

div.entry, div.postinfo {
visibility:show !important;
}
11. No, they definitely DO NOT WANT you hiding global tagegories in Ocean Mist.

12. couldn't you just make the that part of the info the same color as the background? Just a thought.

13. You could.
