Twenty Eleven Header Image and font size.

    The current banner image size for Twenty Eleven is 1000 x 300 pixels. I think 300 is a bit too tall for my blog. Is there a way to upload an image 1000 x 200 without having to crop the image after to make it fit the 1000x300.

    Also changed from Duster to Twenty Eleven because there is constantly a message at the top of dash-board telling me there is a newer version of my theme available. Can't see much difference between the two except the text in the header is now bigger and no longer fits on one line. Can you drop the size of this text anyway without having to pay for an upgrade.

    The blog I need help with is theianfox.wordpress.com.

    No you can't the only way to change it is with CSS editing and a custom design upgrade is required to do that. This is an article that's useful. The workings of Duster / Twenty Eleven

    Any font changes to font families, colors and size in the blog title, tagline, post titles, page titles, categories and tags cannot be done without CSS editing. You can't change the size of the text without a custom design upgrade but you can hide it.

    Thanks.

    Made some adjustments to the text and changed the header image.

    Shame you can't just upload an image the exact size you want and not have the CSS stretch it.
