Twenty-Eleven Theme Header (s?)

  1. Hi,

I have the TwentyEleven theme. I see that some other bloggers have differing header images on different pages. I've read thru all the TwentyEleven info & posts, but can't find anything about how to create a different header image for different pages. Can anyone help?

    Thanx!

The blog I need help with is sylverblaque.wordpress.com.

  2. You do that by uploading and setting a "featured image" for static pages and if you wish, for individual post pages. You need to size and crop the image ahead of time to the exact size required for a header on the theme (size listed at appearance > header). You don't want to "insert" the image into the post, just set it as a featured image. The featured image module should be down on the right side of the editor window. Once you have some uploaded, you can even set a featured image on additional posts or pages from the featured images you have already prepared and uploaded.
