Twenty Twelve Space

  1. I'm new to making websites, but I'm trying to make a similar website to the demo Twenty Twelve.

There is a big blank space under the nav bar that I want to remove. Does anyone know how to do this? This is my website: http://altijdlerenlive.wordpress.com/

I want it to not have the blank space like in the demo: http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/twentytwelve/

I read somewhere that I might have to do something with CSS customization, but I don't know how to find my CSS.

The blog I need help with is leidenhomelearners.wordpress.com.

  2. ? The demo has the exact same space between the nav bar and the page heading:
    http://twentytwelvedemo.wordpress.com/
You can't change that without the paid Custom Design upgrade.

Or are you talking about the space between the heading and the intro text? If so, the extra space and the divider line show up because the page you've set as your homepage is blank, and the text has been added in a Text widget (which is supposed to show up below the main content of the page). You need to edit the page, paste the text in it, update, then delete the widget.
