Twentyfourteen Theme Header

    Hi,

    I’m trying to customize the Twentyfourteen theme’s header.

    The header image size is forced at 1260 wide and 240 high, which is rather strange to start with, as it goes 1920 across the full width of the screen anyway. So, always being streched to 1920, it’s height becomes a permanent 365 pixels, which is really too high. Hence, I sought to just upload it at 1920×240 (as it’s being stretched to 1920 anyway). It won’t let me, though. And it won’t let me skip the crop process.

    So, is there any way to just use a 1920 wide header to begin with?

    Wow, pushed to page 5 within 8 hours. :)

    Anyway, I just checked, and this theme is supposed to have flexible headers (which are supposed to be able to do ‘skip crop’).

    Someone please tell me how it’s done.

    C’mon, people, reply please! Support is dismal, in here. And wordpress apparently made it so you can’t contact them for support either.
