If I upgarde to Custom CSS, will I be able to have a new image on the banner for each page (not one image for whole website) and will I be able to turn off all the blog stuff so it is simply a static website? Thanks
The blog I need help with is daysbayaccomodation.wordpress.com.
In twenty ten, if you set a "featured image" on each static page, and in each post (don't insert the image into the post or page) then that image will be used as the header for that particular page. This excludes archives, categories and tags pages. Those, along with the main page, will use the header image that is set at appearance > header.

For the featured images, make sure they are the same size as is listed at appearance > header when you upload them.
