Twitter Lists and Following

    Hi,
    I am using the free account. I have a Twitter account and I am following many people and also created a List of these people. But the Twitter widget will not show tweets from people I am following until I Retweet them which is time consuming. It would be great if I can show tweets of my Following or the List with my need to Retweet.

    The username of the Twitter account that you want to show tweets from. Until you either Tweet or retweet there's no data for the widget to display. Your timeline is located in your Twitter account and that data is not displayed by the widget. What your followers tweet and retweet is data found in their own accounts. In other words I sincerely doubt that the function you are asking for will ever be available. It makes zero sense to have a Twitter widget that displays what hundreds or even thousands of follower are retweeting. If it did your front page would be two miles long and page loading time is a page ranking factor.

    Thanks timethief for the prompt reply.
    I'll explain what I am trying to do. I have created a twitter account. In this account I followed certain people with same interest like news about my country. I also created a LIST of the same people I am following. Now in my blog I want the tweets of the people I am Following to appear. So everytime one of them writes a tweet which is actually a news about my country I would like this to appear in the blog. I do not want to write tweets and do not want to Retweet everytweet they write. I am not looking to display tweets of people following me.

    I'm sorry but that cannot be done by the Twitter widget we have here. This is what the WordPress.com Twitter widget does and it's all that it does. http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/twitter-widget/
