I have a quick question. The Twitter widget that I have installed on my profile is a bit delayed by a few minutes. Is there any way that I can possibly remove this lag or maybe place my own Twitter badge on there?

No. the time lag is inherent in all widgets as all data is cached. There's nothing we can do at this end at all.

Please also note that we require an active link to the blog in question starting with http:// when you post to the forums so we can examine the blog. Here’s how to link your username to your blog in your blog Dashboard -> Users -> Personal Settings -> then scroll down to Account Details. Then scroll down to where it says ‘Website‘ select the URL for your primary wordpress.com blog and then save changes.
Now every time you sign into the forum we can all click on your username and your blog will be linked to it. And every time you leave a comment on a blog your username can be likewise clicked and your blog can be instantly located.

That is true! It's perfectly fine though. WordPress.com is an excellent service and I have no real complaints about it.
