   Hello fellow wordpress users,

   I have just installed the twitter widget on my wordpress blog today. I put in my twitter username and the address as it said on the instructions, but when I go to the main page of my blog I see this error message where my tweets should be!!!!!!

   Error: Twitter did not respond. Please wait a few minutes and refresh this page.

   I don't know what I am doing wrong, can you guys help me? Thanks.

   Hi there!

   Twitter may be experiencing a temporary issue. If not, this guide should be helpful:

   http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/twitter-widget/

   Make sure you are putting just your twitter username into the widget and not the full http://twitter.com URL.

   I put in my twitter username and it is still not working!!!!!!

   Here is the error message that appears on my blog!!!

   Error: Please make sure the Twitter account is public.

   Unfortunatly, yes I keep my tweets password protected!!!!!!

   That would be the problem then. :) You either have to set it to public or not use the Twitter widget.
