I have two blogs and want to delete one (palomino72) and keep one (radiance). My username however is palomino72 and i don't want to mistakenly delete the whole account. My webpage address directs others to the blog I want to delete. Anyway you can help?
The blog I need help with is palomino73.wordpress.com.
You can't delete accounts, you can only delete blogs. Go to the dashboard of that blog and, under Tools, you'll see Delete. Note this is permanent and irreversible, so we normally just suggest people set the blog to Private so theyt have one to play with different themes and such.
thanks I read that explanation on the help page. My problem is wanting to delete one blog and not both.
There is no problem. All blogs are independent. Deleting one has zero effect on any other blog.
Provided you are logged in under the username account that registered the blog you can delete the blog by using these instructions. http://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/
Note there are 3 warnings and a verification link in an email required to delete a blog. That is because deleted blog URLs are not recycled.
