Two CSS questions for Blogum theme

  1. 1) How can I increase the font size of my post content only?

    2) I'd also like to decrease the width of my comments so that they are the same width as the post content column (right now, they extend across the second and third columns). See here, for instance:

    How can I make these changes through CSS?

    Thanks very much.

    The blog I need help with is yijihae.com.

  2. P.S. I've changed back to another theme, but I'm still interested in the answers to these questions re: Blogum in case I use it again in the future. Thanks!

  3. Howdy!

    1) Try the following in Custom CSS:

    .post-content p {
       font-size: 16px; /* or whatever size you'd like it to be */
    }

    2) Also insert into Custom CSS:

    .comment,
    .pingback,
    .trackback {
       width: 705px;
    }
    #comment-nav-above {
       width: 545px;
       margin-left: 160px;
       float: none;
    }

    That will make the comments the same width as the post meta + content column (so the comment meta lines up with the post meta, and the comment content lines up with the post content.) You can set it to 545px and add a 160px left margin if you want both comment meta + comment content to be the width of the post content.

  4. Awesome - thanks so much! I'll be sure to try these out with the Blogum theme. Thanks again!

  5. Cheers! I'm going to mark this thread as resolved; however, if you have further questions about Blogum, don't hesitate to create a new topic. :)

  6. Sounds good! Thanks again!
