I've noticed that recently reported problem with SSL certificates is sill unresolved. Maybe the problem is that there are two different certificates. One for wordpress.com (login via main page is OK, the certificate is issued by Starfield Technologies and valid), but one for *.wordpress.com (issued by GoDaddy) expired yesterday (it is used when logging via your own blog page).
