   I have two new issues with WordPress.

   First, I can not add a link to a post. If I create a new post from the dashboard or if I edit an existing one, when I select text and click on the link icon, although the dialog box opens, I can not add a link. When I click on the Update box, I do not get redirected to my post being edited but to the list of all posts (and the link is not being added).

   This does not happen when I share an existing URL through through the "Press this" bookmarklet.

   My second issue is with tags. I can no longer see my tags from the dashboard/edit screen, although I can pick from my tags when sharing from the bookmarklet.

   This error can be reproduced under Chrome 11 and IE 8 on my Win XP machine at work (I have yet to confirm with Chrome on my Mac at home).

   The blog I need help with is maximegousse.wordpress.com.

   You haven't provided an active link starting with http:// to the blog you are having issues with and it's not pinked to your username. Will you do that now please? Will you please provide us with a few more details so we can try to help you?

   Chrome 11 and IE 8 on my Win XP

   1. How are you connecting to the internet and to WordPress.com? The way you connect to the internet (mobile, satellite, DSL, dial-up) and to your blog, and how many proxy server jumps etc. it takes to connect can cause problems. There maybe be problems with your ISP and/or with the proxy servers.

   2. Are you using http:// or https:// see http://en.support.wordpress.com/https/

   3.Have you tried clearing your browser cache and cookies? http://www.google.com/support/accounts/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=32050

   4. Do you have third party cookies enabled?

   5. Do you have JavaScript enabled?

   6. Do you have another browser you can try?

   7. You can use this link to see if your Flash is up to date. http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/ If it’s not up to date then this is where to download and install the latest version of Flash. http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/

   8. Have you had any recent operating system and/or security program updates?
   Sometimes operating system and/or security system updates can cause problems so check for known issues. When you make adjustments to your browser settings — changing privacy settings, deleting cookies or increasing security — you will need to close your window and restart the browser before those new settings become effective.

   Will you please see the troubleshooting questions I posted above and answer them?
   Which browser and version of it are you using?
