   I own only one site, http://www.poetrymine.com, which solely features my personal poetry. I realize it's not necessary, but I feel an obligation to say "thank you" to readers who have taken time to comment on my poems. My concern is twofold: First, there is space for only 5 comment links on my homepage and when I reply to a comment the link appears as a comment link and takes up one of the five comment links provided. That means that often 3 of the 5 comment links on the homepage are held by my replies as if I'm commenting on my own poems.

   The second problem is that when the comments post under the appropriate poem, my reply appears on top of the reader's comment. Obviously, I want the comments to appear above my replies to them.

   Can anyone please tell me how to correct these problems? Also, is there any way I can increase the links to the comments, which post under each respective poem, from five to eight or ten?

   Many thanks in advance to anyone who can help me with this.

   That's a self-hosted blog and is supported at wordpress.org/support.

   I'm not very computer savvy, in fact far from it. My site was launched only four months ago and It's the only site I have ever owned. So I'm still learning. I pay 247-host.com each month and, as far as I know, that's payment for their hosting my site. So I'm a bit confused when you say it's self-hosted. I'm not dumb but I can barely spell cemputter (see what I mean?)

   Does your comment mean I've posted my question in the wrong forum where I can't get the answers I need?

   Yes, you're in the wrong place and need to be at the url I provided above. There's a sticky here about the differences b/w wordpress.com (us) and wordpress.org (you). It can be confusing, I know, but this sticky should help:
