Tywlah script and Text Widget

  1. Friend of my is a developer at Tywlah and wanted to test their script on my WP-hosted blog. The Text/Arb. HTML box keeps striping out the <script> code when I save.

    <div id="twylah-trending-1"></div>

    <script src="http://www.twylah.com/rickabruzzo/widgets/trending?layout=vertical"></script>

Any suggestions on how to get this to work?

The blog I need help with is rick.wordpress.com.

  2. WordPress.com vs. WordPress.org: The differences

We cannot use JavaScript widgets on free hosted WordPress.com blogs. The software strips the code out for security reasons. http://en.support.wordpress.com/code/

  3. So, with that said, how does twylah become one of the standard widgets on a WP.com hosted site?

  4. You can make your suggestion ot Staff in an Ideas Forum thread > http://en.forums.wordpress.com/forum/ideas#postform

  5. This really sucks! I've spent hours fiddling (before I found this post). So disappointed, I really want that Twylah widget and the best can get is a crappy text link. WordPress I know it's free but still Unimpressed.
