Unable to see and change the setting of my profile

    Since beginning of october 2012, I don’t get any e-mail notification about the blog I am following. I can see the blog.

    So I logged in to wordpress.com, to change the setting of my profile. I am able to log in but on my profile page, the settings and the 4 tabs (Reader/Notification/Create Blog/etc..) are blank. So I am not able to do any setting changes. Can you help ?

    I can confirm that it is not a browser related issue because if I log off and my friend log in with his own account, he has access to all setting and tabs information. Also, my issue occurs on IE and Safari.

    This problem has been posted earlier and seems to relate to using an outdated browser. http://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/start-page-doesnt-work?replies=11#post-1048951

    Please make sure you are using an up-to-date browser. http://browsehappy.com/ is where you can find links to all the major browsers.

    Thank you justjennifer,
    I tried to clear cache and cookies
    I forced refresh
    I tried 3 different computers in my location with IE8, IE9 (last version), Firefox
    I asked to try from different location with a different Internet provider
    It is always the same : the for tags are blank.

    Since today, when I want to login, I get sometime this message :
    "User andreannie Cannot Access the Dashboard Requested
    You are logged in as "andreannie" and do not have the necessary privileges to access the dashboard for "WordPress.com". If you are not "andreannie", please log out, and log back in with your username. If you are "andreannie" and you need access, please ask an administrator of the site to invite you."
    and I cannot login.
    I do not understand how to ask an administrator to be able to resolve this problem.

    Nevertheless, I am able to see the blog I follow by clicking on the Icone that I created for this blog . This is the only way for me for loging now.

    So if I understand correctly, you've created a WordPress.com account and followed a WordPress.com blog but are not getting notices of new posts (assuming that you've set your Reader settings to receive email notices) and you can't get to your WordPress.com homepage because everything is blank.

    From what page do you log in to WordPress.com?

    Problem resolved.
    Thanks to those who resolved it. I just received a new message of suscribtion for the blog I am following (I did not ask for) and now everything is OK. I have just to check that I will be notified by email when a new post will be posted.
    Justjennifer, thank you. You understood correctly. Now I am able to log in directly from http://fr.wordpress.com

    Just a precision : I know that the new message of suscription for the blog was initiated by the friend who helped me. The problem was solved by WordPress, I suppose : thanks again.
