How do I prevent Comments from being shown until they've been approved?

At settings > discussion set it so that all comments have to be approved: http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/discussion-settings/ .
I had already checked the box requiring administrator to approve, but the Comment still showed on the page.
Check that page again.
Under "before a comment appears" this should be checked: An administrator must always approve the comment
This should NOT be checked: Comment author must have a previously approved comment
Yep, that's what I figured it should be, but the Comment still appears on the blog page. Any other thoughts?
I just left a comment on your most recent post, and when I submitted it it says, "Please Note: Your comment is awaiting moderation."
It works just fine as far as I can see.
I left a test comment too.
"Please Note: Your comment is awaiting moderation."
