   Hi!
   I would like to change my blog address to adthropologist.wordpress.com, but having difficulty because it said the site already exists. When I visited the URL (http://adthropologist.wordpress.com/), it said the site is no longer available because the previous author had already deleted it. Is there a way for me to use that blog address, now that it is no longer in use? Perhaps the system did not update to reflect that for blog address changing purposes?

   Appreciate your help!!

   The blog I need help with is theculturaladthropologist.wordpress.com.

   Deleted blog URLs are not recycled here. Confirm by reading:
   http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/delete-blog/
   http://en.support.wordpress.com/recycling-blog-names/

   You can register another blog with a similar name. http://en.support.wordpress.com/register-a-blog/

   Or you can register a domain vis a domain mapping upgrade and it will not matter what the underlying .wordpress.com address is.
   http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/
   http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/register-domain/
