   The wordpress weblog by Lance Willett advertises Premium Themes (on wordpress.com) with "one-time" pricing, but the Premium Features page says "Upgrades are priced per year". My questions are:

   1. Are ANY Premium Themes available for a one-time fee?
   2. If none are, can I buy a 5- or 10-year license that will outlive me (and my credit card)?
   3. If the answers to 1 and 2 are 'no', what happens to a blog when the annual fee for a Premium Theme is declined by the credit card company (one or more years into the future)? Does the content get poured into a random free theme?

   I basically need to setup and pay (everything) now for a site that will stay up for years. Here's hoping there's a solution OUTSIDE of the free themes on wordpress.com.

   Premium Themes
   Add more options for site customization, exclusive designs, and support direct from theme authors with a Premium Theme upgrade. Pricing for each theme can be found under the Premium tab in the Appearance → Themes page of your dashboard. Premium themes are priced per blog, for the lifetime of that blog.

   When you purchase a premium theme, it is available for the lifetime of that blog. If you would like to use the same theme across multiple blogs, you’ll have to purchase the theme for each blog. http://en.support.wordpress.com/themes/premium-themes/#how-to-get-a-premium-theme

   If you're saying "available for the lifetime of that blog" means "pay once (per blog)", then great!

   But shouldn't the line "Upgrades are priced per year." be removed from the subhead of the Premium Features page to avoid ambiguity? Premium Themes are listed there.
