Undo accidental invite

    Hi there.

    I just did the stupidest thing: I created a blog for my dad and wanted to invite him to be an administrator. Because I'm new to WP myself, I thought that the examples that were in the invite new users box meant that you were supposed to enter the person's name and then their e-mail address. So I entered my dad's first name, followed by his e-mail address. It turns out that I accidentally invited this person whose username is the same as my dad's name, and I have no idea who that user is. Because I assigned him Admin privileges, I'm afraid that he/she might delete the blog or us as users. Is there a way I can undo that invite? Or is there a way I can get in contact with that person and ask him/her to please disregard that invite?

    The blog I need help with is radioantigo.net.

    The blog linked to your username and the other one linked to above are both free hosted WordPress.com blogs without any blogger created content. Please post an active link starting with http:// to the exact blog you are referring to.

    Look in Dashboard >> Users >> All Users >> you will see a bulk edit feature - click on the box for the wrong user then select "Delete" from the actions drop down and the wrong user should be gone

    Make sure you don't delete yourself!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Is there a way I can undo that invite?

    You can delete sent invites from Users -> Invite New in your blog dashboard.

    If the user that received the invite already accepted it, their username will appear in Users -> All Users.

    To remove that user, move your cursor over the username, then click Remove.

    Thank you for you quick responses.

    timethief, these are blogs that I have just created, the radioantigo.net is just beginning and my father will be personalizing it, so right now, it's all default content in there.

    auxclass, the person has not accepted the invitation (yet). I don't know if they will, but if they do, I'm afraid that they might delete us and keep the blog from us, take out admin status away. So, since they haven't accepted, they don't show under the users. I would like to undo that invitation so the person does not gain admin status for the blog.

    hi bryanvillarin

    they have not accepted the invitation, and I don't know if they will. I would just sleep tighter tonight if I could undo it. :) Because my father will use the blog for business and has paid for the domain for mapping it, I didn't want to take the risk of someone we don't know taking it from us.
