The same thing happened to me.
I haven't update my blog since Apr. 12. Today I found some characters are distorted. My blog is in Chinese and encoded with UTF-8.
What's wrong with it? Can you restore my blog? Many thanks!

you should send a feedback via your wp-admin section, I just sent for my blog!!

I checked yesterday & mine has been restored. yours will be done soon as well I think. there are just too many blogs to look after & too few people to do it, so I guess it takes a bit of time!! :)

I hope it will be restored, too. But I just sent another feedback asking for the backup before server down,and I hope they can give me too.
