I have been noticing Unknown search terms in the search term column of site stat for a couple of week. Clicking those terms take me to a link http://en.support.wordpress.com/stats/#search-engine-terms but it doesn't seem to have any clue about them. Is this an error or this is due to some WP policy. I'm much bothered as those terms are not included in total no. of visits yet they are well in number.
Any help please.

There are numerous search engines some not as well known as Bing or Google.
Apparently some search engines will register as a hit in the wordpress statistics, but in following the search engines own privacy policies, they do not give away the search term used.
