I'm sorry to open a new thread about this issue, but my previous thread was closed without the issue being resolved, and now I have more questions. I used my current username to register a new blog. Then I realized that I would have to post on the newly-registered blog with my current username, and I'd prefer to post with a new username. I can't register the username I want, because it's the same as the blog name I just registered. When I try, I get a message saying that blog name is taken. And it is. By me.
Is there a way I can register a new username to post on my new blog, without registering another blog name?
Wonderful TheTimetheif has told me that the username I want is "reserved" for me, but that I will need a mod's help to resolve the issue. It's been 2 months since I originally asked this question, and I'd really like to get started on my new blog. Is there any other way I can ask for help?
I thought a way to solve this problem would be to register a totally new username and then add it to the blog in question. But I can't register a new username with my email address, because my email address is also "already taken." (!) Is there a way to have multiple usernames with the same email address, or will I have to open a new email account just to get a new name?
Failing those two options, can I divorce my new blog from my old blog? In other words, delete the new blog that is linked to my old blog, and then re-register it so I can have the username associated with it?
Are there any other options I'm missing?
If I had known this would be a problem, I wouldn't have linked the two blogs. I would have just registered the username and blog I want by themselves in the first place. Alas...
Profuse thank-yous to anyone who can help.
The blog I need help with is bilinguish.wordpress.com.
