I would prefer my paragraphs not be indented but it is happening involuntarily. I'm sure there's an easy fix but I am still rather illiterate with all of this stuff. How can I fix this? Thanks in advance...

That's the way the theme is designed to display paragraphs. If you don't like that, you need to enclose each and every paragraph in this code (in the HTML editor):
<p style="text-indent:0;">PARAGRAPH TEXT HERE</p>
The only way to change that once for all is by buying the CSS upgrade.
