unwanted widget

  1. Meta widget is appearing on my blog, but I didn't put it there, and I can't take it of.

The blog I need help with is shantidasi.wordpress.com.

  2. That's the default widget that appears when there are no sidebar widgets. To completely remove it, just add a blank text widget to your sidebar.

  3. In any WordPress.com blog we can override the default sidebar display which does not contain actual widgets. We go here > Appearance > Widgets and we select the widgets of our own choice from the Available Widgets box. Then we place them in sidebar or footer widgets areas, configure them, save them and click close on each one. That will "remove" the default display and replace it with widgets of your own choosing. :)

  4. Thank you, it worked easily!

  5. You're welcome from me. :)

  6. And, you're welcome from me! :)
