upgrade not working

    Dear Sir/Madam,
    I asked a trusted friend of my in the United States of America, to help me with my blog update but it was not successful.

    We use PayPal as our payment gateway, and they have chosen to block payment from Nigeria.

    As long as the billing address is based in Nigeria, the payment cannot be processed.

    As you can see in the mail, my fiend is based in the US and is trying to pay with his credit card in the US. I understand payment problems from Nigeria, that is why he is doing it from their. Do what alternative do i have/

    All of the payments your friend tried were declined, so either their billing address in is an unsupported country (US is support of course), or their bank is blocking the transaction.

    I am from Cambodia, i have the same problem. Is Cambodia also not a valid country?

    ... my dear naijaspleen...its unfortunate that a few bad eggs have messed up things for millions of us who want to do honest transactions...but international bodies and banks are still all over naija and millions of genuine money still get transacted each day...

    ...will discuss with our bankers this week and get back to you..we will get through i believe...as long as our intentions are honest and we believe in what we are setting up the site for!...

    ...the alternative might be to leave wordpress and register with http://www.vconnect.com which seem to be naija's alternative to wordpress...okay?...

    ...my dear brother,i have gone to the net to read what is the problem between naija and paypal...looks to me like no solution can come through our bankers...i have read many websites offering to open a U.S-based paypal account for naijas but i am not interested in any sort of business limitation that needs to be solved by what looks deceitful...

    ...my business/website is not really meant for people outside the shores of naija so i am not getting myself unnecessarily edgy about paypal...i have also seen that vconnect is not a website-developing concern like wordpress but i have registered LAGOS BOOKS CLUB with them for publicity...

    ...maybe the best solution is just to retain the "free" status quo on wordpress subject to many deprivations or look for solution elsewhere if your business is ex-naija...all the best...

    okido!...again just got to know yesterday that adsense not allowed here...that might change everything for me cause i was hoping to build a foundation for adsense income to follow later...
