Upgraded to the wrong account

  1. Hi there,

    I recently bought the upgrade bundle so that I could update my blog and unfortunately I upgraded to the wrong user account. I need to apply it to the right one.

    Can you please switch it for me? Otherwise, it's a wasted $300

    Please let me know. I need it to be applied to Soniac08

  2. How recently? You may be able to get a refund in the dashboard->store area and then purchase again. If that option does not appear then you will need to wait for staff assistance

  3. WordPress.com provides a 30-day refund on all upgrades except Domain Registrations, Domain Renewals, and Guided Transfers. Provided you are logged in under the same username account that purchased the upgrades, you can request a refund yourself directly from the Store section of your Dashboard

    Note: It takes from 1 - 2 weeks for the refund to be received.

  4. You should also be able to transfer the upgrade to another blog at

    Dashboard >> Store >> My Upgrades - should be a transfer option

    This has also been flagged for the staff to help - but for the staff to help they will need explained in small clear words exactly what is being transferred from which account to which account - and to help them - having the request made by each account affected while logged in here will help to prevent confusion

  5. @soniac08 - you need to make the transfer request from the user account that originally purchased the upgrade.

    Just sign in with that user account and respond to this thread and I can take care of the transfer.
