1. Content won't upload. I tried to upload a link and to upload a post containing the link. It won't let me
Blog url: http://sw3ddesign.wordpress.com/

2. What content?

What link?

How are you tying?

What steps are you taking?

What happens when you try?

Have you read any of the other threads here from people having problems?

Have you tried any of the suggestions in those threads?

3. I'm trying to upload this link: http://christinetarkowski.com/

I've tried (many times) to press the "link" button on the left when the post window opens. insert the link, write a comment (namely that the link is where I got the banner image) and press publish. I get the wagon wheel.

I've also tried (many times) to press the "post" button too. I insert the above link into the comments and hit publish. I get the wagon wheel.

I have tried reseting the browser and clearing the cookies per suggestions on the threads. I don't have massive amounts of time to dedicate to uploading posts -- or researching how to do so -- so I'll have to find another blog server if I can't simply publish my posts easily. It seems to me I should be able to hit the button and have the post upload.

4. and press publish.

I've also tried (many times) to press the "post" button too. I insert the above link into the comments and hit publish.

WHICH publish and WHICH post buttons? There are several in different places and on different forms.

When I asked if you had read the other threads, there was a reason. People have reported having success using the form on the Dashboard when nothing else worked. Had you read those threads, you would have seen that.

5. The guide for creating links in posts and pages is here:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/links/

This is the general link model:
Highlighted anchor text here

Enter your anchor text you want to link to first. In your case it's the title of the page you want to link to. Then use your mouse to highlight that anchor text. Next click the chain icon in the editor and proceed to create the link to that page.

Here is an example using the link you provided. To create a link like this one
Visit Christine's site
this is what you need:

Visit Christine's site

6. oops!
This is the general link model:
Highlighted anchor text here
