Uploading from WordPress to GoDaddy

  1. I have a website at GoDaddy, GregHall.biz that I set up just for blogging. I set up an account at WordPress and did did a "Test" Blog and inserted the Short Link where GoDaddy said to and it worked, the WordPress blog uploaded to my site. Then I deleted the test file from my GoDaddy blog page and wrote my first real blog on WordPress, copied the short link and pasted it as before at GoDaddy and this message came up: "There is no RSS data to display right now. Please check back later." Any thoughts?

The blog I need help with is gforcetrader.wordpress.com.

  2. greghall.biz is not a site being hosted by WordPress.com. We provide support only for free hosted WordPress.com blogs here. Support for your website is provided on the WordPress.ORG support forums and they are here http://wordpress.org/support/ If you don't have a username account at WordPress.org, click that link and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the correct support forums for your software.

  3. Hi again. I am using WordPress.com as my blogging site but it says on your site that I can upload my blogs from WordPress to other sites by copying the URL into the other sites (ie. greghall.biz)

It worked for my test, but not for the real blog I created. Any thoughts?
    Greg

  4. What is the address of the "real" site you created?

    Is it this one? https://gforcetrader.wordpress.com/

I do see one published post there that looks fine - both on the site and in the RSS feed. If your GoDaddy site builder site isn't picking it up, I recommend you talk to GoDaddy support and have them take a look at what the trouble might be on that end.

Let me know how it goes.
