Uploading theme, HELP

    I have created an account for WordPress and Elegant Themes. I followed the instructions for downloading the elegant theme. Then when I went to upload it onto our WordPress account, I couldn't find out how to upload it. I watched a tutorial on their website and when uploading a theme you must upload the .ZIP file onto our WordPress Dashboard. I went under the Appearance tab, just like the instructions said, and went to click the "Install Themes" tab but it wasn't there. (It is supposed to be by the top of the page). Does anyone know why this is happening? Any advice would be helpful.

    The blog I need help with is tuxedowh.wordpress.com.

    Those instructions, and that theme, are for WordPress.ORG blogs, not WordPress.COM blogs. Our blogs here at WP.com can only use the themes on the dashboard already. If you bought this theme, get your money back. It's a common mistake.

    I'm sorry, but themes can't be uploaded to WordPress.com. That's a feature of self-hosted blogs through WordPress.org.

    You may use any of the available themes we have under Appearance > Themes in your dashboard, and you may want to look into purchasing the Custom Design Upgrade to customize one of the themes we offer.

    Please read this about the differences among the wordpress possibilities. If you are using wp.com, then you can use only the themes you find under dashboard_>appearances—>themes.
