Upload/Insert toolbar missing from New Post page

    I'm working on a new post on the blog I share with my wife. When I create a new post, or edit the draft I created, I can see the visual editor, but the Upload/Insert toolbar is completely missing, so I can't add photos to my post.

    I'm running Firefox 3.5.2, I have Google Gears installed and enabled for WordPress (though the problem existed before I installed Gears), and I'm on a Windows XP machine. My wife is running Firefox on a Mac, and does not have this problem--the picture upload toolbar is right where it should be for her.

    Thanks for any help you can give me on this problem. I'll be happy to send you screenshots or anything else that might help you troubleshoot this.

    Are you logged in as an administrator? Check your "role" at users > authors and users.

    Hey, that worked! My wife was set as the only admin on the blog, and I was only a "contributor." Thanks for your help.
