When I paste my wordpress link on facebook, the preview shows a thumbnail which has to be changed actually. (You can see the image at top when you enter my blog)
Please help me in altering the blog-image with a new one. Well, this is my blog emptyaperture.wordpress.com
I need to change the image for good !

Everyone who posts here to the peer support forums tends to think their issue is urgent. :) But in most cases answers can be found in the support documentation. Please see here:
Only the first five images uploaded to a post (direct inclusion/gallery/slideshow) will be sent to Facebook. The images size has to be at least 200 x 200 pixels.
To select which image will be used for things like Facebook Publicize, you can use a theme that supports featured images. If a featured image isn’t set or your theme doesn’t use featured images, then the code tries to pick the first image in the post or page. If no image is found, then the blavatar is used. http://en.support.wordpress.com/publicize/#troubleshooting
Do note that we have no control over which images Facebook chooses to display nor do we have control over how frequently the clear their image caches. Best wishes with your blog. :)

Even if we leave about the facebook thing, I can see the same image on my google chrome tab(exactly beside 'Vivacious vision') .I need to change it because it's annoying!

Are you referring to a gravatar/avatar or blavatar? if so note that changing them is not an instantaneous process. The changes take time to propagate throughout the internet.
Below are the best practices for successfully uploading your Gravatar, Avatar and/or Blavatar images:
(1) Choose an image that does not have any transparency in it and scales both up and down in size without losing definition. Prepare the image prior to uploading it and make sure it’s 512 x 512 pixels or larger so it will look the best in the widest range of uses.
(2) The image filetype has to be either PNG, GIF or JPG. Make sure the file name contains only letters and numbers – no special characters – and make sure all letters are in lowercase.
(3) Also make sure the image file name has an extension (Example – image.jpg)
(4) Note that there is a time delay while your gravatar image propagates. If you are experiencing problems then go to the gravatar site and read the FAQs as it contains common questions and answers to them
