URGENT!! Problems with subscription/Follow !

  1. For two days now, I've had some major issues adding subscriptions to external blogs via WordPress's Following feature (usually via email/Inbox). Recently when I tried to subscribe or Follow a blog, it said "Your subscription did not succeed, please try again with a valid email address." or "Your subscription could not be activated, it may have expired".

This all happened around two days ago when I've started to LOG-IN again into my WordPress account, and then changing my primary email-address.
Could it be because then the WordPress started to find that my *own* blog has been inactive for a long time (since 2007) ? (Here's the address to my own blog: http://nikiwonoto.wordpress.com/ )

Then what should I do, in order to basically eliminate this adding subscriptions to external (other people's) blogs problem? Because I really need to Follow (& comment) on some VERY IMPORTANT blogs.

And related secondly, can I simply "Follow/Subscribe" to external (other people's) blogs WITHOUT log-in ?

    Please reply ASAP.
    thank you.

The blog I need help with is nikiwonoto.wordpress.com.

  2. No reply?
Please, this is very urgent/important for me!

  3. Then you should probably give us the URLs of the blogs in question that are so urgent for you to follow immediately.

I am having the same issue - all the blogs that I've tried to subscribe to (6 or 7 in the past week) have come back with the same message. Very frustrating.

Why would I give the URLs? This is clearly an issue with WordPress rather than the blogs. I have not managed to successfully follow any blogs over the past couple of weeks and a google shows that other people are having a similar issue. A solution would be great.

  7. hello guys, I have the same problem
    any idea?

  8. Please provide the URLs starting with http:// for the blogs you are referring to, so we can verify your experience, track down the cause and provide a solution.

  9. @studiomarra could you please explain step-by-step what you are doing until you get that error message. Looking forward to your reply.
