I was using coraline and had my own image as the banner. when experimenting with other themes, the image disappeared from teh blog. It is still in the media library but I can't put an image on the banner from the media library when customising. I don't have the original image apart from the copy that is in the mdeia library. Any ideas on how I can get it back as my banner image?

The blog I need help with is swahilistreet.wordpress.com.
You go to Media > Library, hover under the image title, click Show, and copy the image to your computer. Then you go to Appearance > Header and upload it from your computer. Ideally you should first resize it to the exact dimensions the new theme requires:

This is the reason why you can't use it directly from the media library: each theme has different header image dimensions, so you need a properly sized image or an image that will go through the cropper upon uploading.
thank you very much! Though the issue had resolved itself already, I'm happy to have the image back on my drive.
