User specific sections

    I would like to have sections of my blog visible only to users that I specify. Is this even possible? If yes how?

    The blog I need help with is thejoelist.wordpress.com.

    On WordPress.com, your only option to limit visibility of certain Posts or Pages is by making them password protected.
