   Didn't realise the username would be the part of the blog domain name when I set up. Does anyone know how to change this?

   The username cannot be changed.

   You can change the nickname (Users > Profiles) or you can register another blog from the front of the domain.

   Revisit the main http://wordpress.com while logged in. YOu'll see the Register a new blog link.
