Since hackers are interested in getting hold of usernames associated with blogs, the posting of usernames on the forum associated with queries makes it easy to acquire that info. Shouldn't there be an option for bloggers to use a nick, and if that is indeed an option I'd be interested in knowing how to set it up.
The blog I need help with is spinnbin.com.
I have been here for 5 1/2 years and in every case when a blogger stated their site had been hacked what had actually happened is they had shared their password with others or left it where others gained access to it. A strong password that is not shared is what's required to preserve security. Setting that aside, you can read this section on display names ie. nicknames.
