Users who have accepted invitations show up as having accepted the invitations on the Invite New page, but they are not showing up on the Users page. When will they show up and can they post now.

That is a bit odd. Would you please try deleting the invitation and re-inviting them?
I have the same problem. Trying to add an editor, invitation was accepted, but doesn't show up in user section.
