Hi there! Yes indeed, you can. Go to Appearance -> Background, then you should see a button to select an existing image from your Media Library. This guide may help as well.

This is just a brief comment to let you know the 404 (page not found) error message on your front page was caused by deleting the placeholder Hello World post. Not to worry though, as when you publish a post, not a page, it will disappear.
