Last night (8th of December) I wrote a post (Romkugler). Then today when I went back - the post was gone. I can't find it anywhere. The Category I posted it in is stille there ( a new one for this post). The tags mde for this post is also still there - but not the post.
I can't find my 'Trash' to see if it is in there. It really a bother.
Can you help me figure out where my post have gone of to?

You may be able to recover an earlier post revision. Go to Posts > All Posts, hover over the title of the post, click Edit and check the Post Revisions module for previous saved versions of the post. http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/post-revisions/
If you're not seeing the Revisions module while on the editor screen, click Screen Options (top right corner of your Admin page) http://en.support.wordpress.com/screen-options/ to activate it. Then select the post and page modules to include them. http://en.support.wordpress.com/modules/#list-of-modules Then you ought to be able to go here > Dashboard > All Posts > Posts and locate the post and recover it from post revisions.
If you cannot locate the post for locating and restoring a post revision, and it's not in your Trash folder http://en.support.wordpress.com/trash/ then you will not be able to recover it. http://en.support.wordpress.com/trash/#restoring-from-trash
Did you create your post on the dashboard of your own blog?
Dashboard > Posts > All Posts > Add New
Or did you create your post on the front page of WordPress.com?

I created the post from my dashboard.
None of the above solutions worked, and I still cannot find access to my trash.
But there are no traces of the post except for the tags and the category - which only states that they are not connected with any posts.
I'm so sorry you were unable to restore it and will have to re-create it.
I'm just really at a loss as to how it could just vanish after I had posted publicly....but thanks

I'm really sorry you experienced this! Like Timethief has said, it's gone for good, at this point. We are investigating this issue and deployed a fix recently (that may not have covered every possibility, it appears now).
Some additional questions: how long did you work on the post? When you say you created it from your dashboard, do you mean Newdash (where there are the tabs for stats, reader, etc. as well)? Did you have any other tabs open when you worked on it, and did you navigate away from the post?
