Vanishing Posts

  1. Ours is a technical blog for dental professionals (products, instructions and Medical Safety Data Sheets among others); it is important to rely on everything working properly, since it´s a source of knowledge and support.

    We noticed yesterday that one of our posts was not available. The message was in Spanish, but translated it would be:

    We´re sorry, but we can´t find what you´re looking for. Maybe the Search will help you."

    We fixed that post today using the "update" button at the Dashboard.
    Just in case, we started checking all posts and a lot of them (really many) have the same problem.
    We are fixing one by one, but we cannot keep checking posts weekly to see that everything shows.

    We would like to know if this is an isolated issue or if there is a known bug and how can this be avoided or solved.

    Has someone else had the same problem?

  2. Have you reported this to Staff? Here’s the link http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/ After you use the searchbox, under the search results, at the bottom of the page there will be a section that says “Have you found the answer to your question?” You can choose either “Yes I found the answer to my question.” or “No I didn’t find the answer to my question and I would like to contact support for help.” The no option will reveal the contact form.
