   Hi folks,

   I tryed to use video tag in my own blog on wordpress.com, but WP delete this tag.

   Any idea?

   The blog I need help with is guiodic.wordpress.com.

   The video HTML tag is not allowed. See this support document for what is and is not allowed.

   If you want to host and upload your own videoes, there is the videopress upgrade.

   Is there any plan to support the html5 video tag in the future. The new version of Firefox natively supports it.

   html5 video is not a service it's a standard like the img tag.

   There are many things in the wordpress.ORG software that are not in the software here. I would be completely surprised if the HTML5 <video> tag is allowed here.
