This has happened a few times just recently. I go to paste a web address for a You Tube video I want to embed in my post and when I preview or publish, just the link is displayed, not a box with the video.
I've been using wordpress for over a year, and have been putting videos into my posts, and this is the first time I've had this issue.
Thoughts?

If you're using the visual editor, make sure the YouTube URL is not hyperlinked. See http://en.support.wordpress.com/videos/youtube/#troubleshooting for more info.
Also, maybe try switching over to the text editor instead of the visual editor when editing the post. If you paste the YouTube link there, you're sure to not have it automatically linked and break the oEmbed. There's some good instructions at http://en.support.wordpress.com/editors/ but keep in mind this article calls it the HTML editor, and the name recently changed to text editor.
