   Hi there,

   Now that vodpod has seemingly disappeared, is there a way of displaying videos in the sidebar at all? YouTube or other videos.

   You can insert any YouTube video by pasting the Youtube shortcode in a text widget:
   [youtube=VIDEO URL HERE&w=NNN]

   Replace NNN with the width that's right for your sidebar - see here:
   http://wpbtips.wordpress.com/2010/01/11/sidebar-width/

   You can also insert any video that provides a flash embed code, by turning that code into a gigya shortcode. See here:
